Americorps Suicide Prevention Outreach Fellow

This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of 3-4 days in the Bloomington, MN office.

The Suicide Prevention Outreach Fellow position will expand the reach of SAVE’s Green Bandana Project program that operates in high schools and on college/university campuses across the United States. Key components to suicide prevention programming increase students’ agency to maintain or improve mental wellness, which underpins one’s ability to achieve optimal health, gainful employment, and an adequate standard of living.

Youth Mental Health Gatekeeper Instructor and Outreach Coordinator

This is a hybrid position that requires a minimum of 3-4 days in the Bloomington, MN office.

This Americorps position is managed through the Healthy Minds Alliance – a community-based approach to the mental health crisis utilizing evidence-based/ informed programs in diverse communities nationwide. AmeriCorps Members will serve as certified Mental Health Gatekeeper Training Instructors and train community members to support people with mental health challenges. The host site for this position is SAVE (Suicide Awareness Voices of Education) located in Bloomington, MN.
