About the event

The Survivors of Suicide Loss Day Memorial Event (formerly known as the Suicide Awareness Memorial) is an annual gathering dedicated to honoring the lives of those lost to suicide. This meaningful event offers a safe and compassionate space for survivors to come together, share their journeys, and find comfort in the presence of others who understand. Through remembrance, reflection, and connection, participants are supported in healing while paying tribute to their loved ones.

Program

Please join is from 8:30am to 11:00am for the following:

8:30-9:00am – Light refreshments, viewing of memorial wall, community resource tables & more
9:00-10:00am – Program
10:00-11:00am – Community engagement activities

Registration

There is no cost to attend this event. However, we ask that you register using the button below to ensure enough space for all.

Registration will close on Friday, November 6th at 11:59 PM.

Survivors of Suicide Loss Day Photo Submission

Photos submitted via this form will be included in our photo memorial display for the Survivors of Suicide Loss Day event on November 21, 2026. You are also welcome to bring a physical copy of a photo to this year’s event, and a volunteer will assist you in displaying the photo.

While this information is not published as part of the Suicide Awareness Memorial display, SAVE staff and volunteers acknowledge the importance of learning about and memorializing those lost to suicide. Because people who die by suicide are so much more than names and photos, we value any memories or information you would like to share with us about who this person was, keeping human lives at the core of our work.
