After Shayna lost a handful of family and friends to suicide, she became passionate about mental health awareness and suicide prevention. When Shayna decided she wanted to actively get involved there was nowhere for her to volunteer on her side of town; so, she decided that it had to start somewhere so why not her. That’s when Shayna researched SAVE’s National Outreach Network and decided to form SAVE North Myrtle Beach, SC.
