SAVE x Emmy’s Champions
Erin Popolo, Founder of Emmy’s Champions, and Erich Mische, CEO of SAVE, discuss the KiDS Campaign, parental involvement and awareness, and keeping kids safe online.
KiDS: Keep It Digitally Safe represents organizations in five countries across four continents. Its scholarship contest launched in February and will accept submissions for warning labels on social media platforms through the end of September 2025. The art contest encourages young people and others to design creative “labels” in a variety of mediums to raise awareness of the dangers youth face on unregulated platforms and encourage systemic change through comprehensive legislative solutions like warning labels and age-appropriate design codes. Prizes are:
- 1st Place: $5,000 scholarship
- 2nd Place: $3,000 scholarship
- 3rd Place: $2,000 scholarship
Spread the word and submit your ideas at keepitdigitallysafe.org. Participants may enter individually or in teams of up to five members. Submissions can include artwork, slogans, videos, and other creative media.
