Memorial event unites community of suicide loss survivors in May
This event pays tribute to those we have lost and allows suicide loss survivors to gather, share personal journeys and find support in one another.
SAVE is honored to host its Suicide Awareness Memorial event for the first time since 2019 in a new location, Bloomington Center for the Arts, 1800 West Old Shakopee Road. Featuring a photo display, refreshments, speakers, music programming, resource tables and a reading of names of people lost to suicide, this event pays tribute to them. The memorial, 9-11 am on May 18, allows suicide loss survivors to gather, share personal journeys and find support among peers and organizations taking action to fight the tragedy of suicide.
Photo submission for 2024’s event is closed online, but attendees may bring a physical copy of their loved one lost to suicide for the photo display if they so choose. To submit a photo of a loved one you have lost to suicide in advance of 2025’s event, please submit this form. Email mfondell@save.org with any questions. RSVP here.
